DIM weight / Actual Weight & Shipping Labels
Hello all. So I understand the whole DIM concept and how to get the DIM weight if package is over 1 cubic foot. Right now I use USPS Calculated Ground Advantage. My question is if I have a package and actual weight is 3 LBS, and I know my package is over the 1728" so the DIM weight applies, do I enter the DIM weight along with the dimensions for my listing or do I enter the actual weight and the dimensions and EBAY calculates the correct cost based on those dimensions once it meets the 1728" threshold?
If EBAY does not figure in DIM weight & costs for my shipping label, do I just find out what the extra cost is and put that under "handling" charges so shipping cost is more accurate?
Then when I purchase a shipping label do I put in actual weight or DIM weight? If I use DIM weight of 13LBS and package actual weight is 3 LBS will USPS dock me for not providing accurate weight? I mean how is it done so that a seller does not get smacked with a charge from USPS? Thanks in advance for any insight

In the item listing as well as on the shipping label creation page, enter the actual weight and dimensions - not the DIM weight.
