Difficulty with eBay when my account Hacked.
Has anyone had their eBay account Hacked and experienced my difficulties with eBay ???
I advised eBay as soon as eBay congratulated me on selling hundreds of pounds of sales on my account that I knew nothing of.
As the items were Buy it Now the buyers money was sent to the hackers bank account which had been switched for mine.
When I advised eBay they paid back the buyers.
When eBay tried to get their money back from the Hackers NatWest account it was empty!!
When eBay reverted the Hackers account to my Santander account eBay used their direct debit to withdraw the money paid the Hacker from my account.
After hours of phone calls to half a dozen eBay sections, I've been told many times that its not my fault and not to worry, my money will be returned to my account.
Start date circa 23 February 24, now 8 April [over 6 weeks] and still awaiting approx. £800 I can't afford to lose.
Can anyone give me hope that eBay will fulfil its promise ???
