Difficult Buyer (Ebay sides with the buyers vs. sellers on sellers dime?) APPEAL!!!!
I am appealing a case in which ebay sided with a buyer not receiving an item. For how much information I gave ebay and how quickly they over looked all my facts and evidence to side with the buyer I am kind of concerned how this appeal will go. It is not fair for the seller to lose out on over $70 and the item when they only profited $40 from the item after fees and shipping.
Details about the case
Tried to request switching to buy it now last minute before auction ended, Ebay automatically refused.
Got upset that him and another guy bid up the price.
Tried giving me Negative feedback immediately after auction ended (Ebay only allowed him to give natural)
[Removed by Moderator]-"Shipping price outrageous, bids jump up in one day to increase price"
Tried Canceling the order Immediately after winning the auction (Ebay Refused)
He demanded it to go Fed Ex so I went 20miles out of my way to the closest fed ex store
I Emailed buyer Fed Ex tracking seconds after the receipt printed.
Approximately a week later he opened a did not receive claim.
Ebay sided with the buyer and refunded him and took over $70 from my account.
Ebay gave me 3 options link tracking number, refund, contact buyer. I tried linking the tracking number to the listing but it did not allow saying this tracking number has been linked to another customer. I emailed the buyer the tracking number for the second time.
In the tracking number that states it was delivered to his address has a picture of the package sitting on an outdoor floormat.
[Removed by Moderator] acted like he's never seen an auction style listing on ebay before. Tried to request switching to buy it now last minute before auction ended, ebay automatically refused. [Removed by Moderator] got upset that him and another guy bid up the price. [Removed by Moderator] then got upset about shipping price that was clearly stated in the listing (common sense would just take shipping in account to your bid amount) An item starting out at .99 to unknown destination possibly Alaska I am going to play it to the safe side. Shipping is clearly stated in the listing and 22.50 isn't that outrageous in my opinion if you're taking in account for material, gas, tax, time, fees, ect.
This buyer was very rude, unappreciative, demanding, disrespectful through the entire process. I am certain that he is trying to get a free part out of the deal and scam me out of the part and money. Ebay did a terrible job looking into this case as I provided all my information in many different ebay avenues to try to get through to someone that could look into this. I have the message threads and the events that took place shouldn't be too hard for ebay to see in their system. Now that Ebay took over $70 from me and refunded the buyer what now???
