In order to keep your seller protection, you are required to ship to the address provided with the payment notification.
The buyer can request that you cancel the transaction so you could relist and the buyer could re-purchase the item using the correct shipping address when they pay for the item on the Ebay checkout page.

OP2 years agothank you for the quick response.... should I go with cancel the order and have the buyer put right address in..... or is it worth all of the hassle for a 50-dollar item???

Mentor2 years agoFor seller protection, you are required to ship to the address on the payment. Assuming the member making the request for a change has the same member ID as your buyer, you should cancel the transaction (using issue with buyer's address as the reason) and relist so the buyer can repurchase it, making sure he chooses/adds the desired address at checkout.
If the member ID is different from your buyer's, it's a scammer and you can report that to eBay using the report link in the Actions dropdown in the message.

If you choose to ignore the seller protection policy, you'll be obligated to refund the buyer if he claims the order was not received at the address on the order details. Just follow the correct process as outlined for this situation.
