Difference in Proceeds and Received amounts.
Hello,
I'm wondering what is going on and I can't get a straight answer from ebay.
I sold an item for $123.00 plus the shipping fee. After the selling fee and payment fee was deducted, proceeds of $107.65 were reported.
However, when my payout came, it only shows $88.07 Received.
My question is, what happened to the rest of the proceeds. If there were more fees they should be shown and the amount before the deduction shouldn't be reported as proceeds. Also, why should Received be different than Proceeds?
Can anyone explain what ebay is pulling here? Shouldn't this be transparent?
Thank you.

Your "available funds" are a running total, so there may be other fees from other listings and sales intermingled. Each payout can cover multiple transactions.
If you click PayOut ID here, it will have a complete breakdown of that Payout:
https://www.ebay.com/sh/fin/payouts
From your gross sales (Price + Shipping, if any + Sales Tax) eBay will deduct
Sales Tax (remitted to the state)
Shipping labels
Final Value Fees FVF
Insertion fees (if any)
Promoted listing fees (if any)
Store Fees (if any)
etc.
There is a nice video on this page about how to find your fees: https://export.ebay.com/en/fees-and-payments/seller-fees/
Here is a help page where you can learn about selling fees:
https://www.ebay.com/help/selling/fees-credits-invoices/selling-fees?id=4822
All of the deductions should be listed here:
https://www.ebay.com/sh/fin/transactions
Please look at the breakdown here of your payouts here:

OP5 months agoYes, I looked and had already saw that page, which is partly why I'm confused. It shows a proceed of $107.65 and no other fees than those I mentioned.
I did not ask about "available funds." I asked about "received funds."
Thank you for your ebay answer.
