Didn't receive order from India placed last year due to tariffs

Question

I placed an order on August 15, 2025 that was to be shipped from India. On September 4 I received a message from the seller asking if I wanted a refund or to wait until the order could be shipped. Thinking the tariff situation wouldn't drag on for an eternity I told the seller to wait. I have never received the order I paid for. I contacted the seller a week ago and have not received a response. Is there anything I can do at this point to get my order?

It is much too late for eBay to help. It is probably also too late for your credit card issuer to open a dispute to get your money back. You could call them and ask how long they allow a not received dispute to be opened.
