Didn't receive my package
eBay denied my dispute that I didn't receive a package, the delivery service has a photo outside a gate of the corner of a building as proof of delivery, but you have to come inside the gate and inside of the apartment complex building to deliver to my front door , and in the photo there isn't a package in the photo, just a gate and the corner of a building and there are 2 other buildings the same color bricks and the same color gate within feet of my complex and first they said there wasn't tracking number, now all of a sudden they came up with a tracking number after I filed a dispute. I'm 68, and have chronic back pain, why should I have to go outside to look for a package?, when the package was suppose to be delivered to my front door, they don't have photo with proof of delivery at my front door, do you think that this is right, I on a fixed income, I did what I was suppose to do, I paid for my merchandise, they don't forfil their part of the agreement, I'm contacting a lawyer and writing the Better Business Bureau and I will be posting on all Social Media Platforms, if you're experience this problem, please let me know and posting too. Well, there is a lot to unpack in that post.
-It sounds like your "delivery service" dropped the ball by not providing a picture of the package at your complex's gate or your front door. So WHO is the delivery service? FedEx? UPS? USPS? Have they delivered to your front door int he past???
-Was there a tracking number on the item in your Purchase history? Purchases | Myebay | eBay
-Sellers have nothing to do with the security of the delivery address or how packages are to be delivered to the address on file. If your complex has a specific protocol for carriers to follow then the issue falls to them, NOT the Seller.
-The package may have been stolen, if that is the case you will have to contact your local police and file a stolen property report and possibly file a claim with your Home or Renters Insurance.
-" ... I on a fixed income ... I'm contacting a lawyer ..." : Was the item a high value item? Lawyers aren't cheap and being on a fixed income might present a problem for you.
-You may have fallen prey to the FALSE TRACKING NUMBER SCAM
You filed a claim through eBay that you did not receive the item but since tracking showed it was delivered, they ruled against you.
You need to get a document from the Post Office or "delivery service" you mentioned stating that the package was not delivered to your front door and then contact eBay with that information to prove delivery confirmation was to a different address than yours.

Contact customer service by sending a PRIVATE message on social media. Customer service verifies your identity before responding.

If for some reason eBay does not refund you then you will have to pursue a dispute with your card company or PayPal. Just know that if you do that eBay will not support you at all if you run into issues with the dispute.
