Didn't receive Item Ordered. Listing was removed along with seller

Question

I ordered and paid for an item. Never received it. Got an email from ebay that seller was removed for a policy issue. Now the listing is gone. Cant contact seller. No response. Put in an order for a cancellation. No response from anyone including Ebay. I just want a refund. Ebay not helping and seller gone with my payment.

Contact eBay CS about this - depending on why the seller and listing were removed, they may be able to refund you right away, or can advise what to do next.

Open this Help page on Removed listings
At the bottom Click on "Contact us"
In the Help Chatbox that opens, to bypass the bots, type AGENT then press the Send arrow
Keep typing "AGENT" to any bot questions.
For the box asking "Yes"/"Something else" click on "Yes"
You should see the options to Chat live with an agent, or have them call you.

I tried it and had to enter AGENT twice, clicked "Yes", then got the live agent options.

Note: The Call Back option doesn't always work if your carrier blocks spam/telemarketing calls.
With the Chat option eBay will automatically email you a transcript.
