It was my first sale on eBay. I was unsure of how to use the label they provide, and because I didn't want the buyer to get mad or have to wait, I jumped the gun and paid for the shipping at the UPS store on my own. Now, the buyer has received the item. But because I didn't use thier label, the tracking never confirmed, and so my payment is on hold still. How can I proove that the buyer got the package and get paid????
Each transaction has an Add tracking feature where Sellers can manually type in the tracking number from a receipt they obtain when shipping at the counter and not purchasing a DISCOUNTED shipping label through eBay.
You can stil try ADDING the UPS tracking number to the sold item, you may get a late shipping defect since tracking was not uploaded and validated within your Handling time but at least you will have record of the shipment.
If the Buyer files a calim that they did no receive their item you will have to laod a valid tracking number to the claim.
New Sellers can and do have their funds held for up to 30 days REGARDLESS of delivery status, Buyer Feedback, etc. Read about that here: Payments on hold | eBay
-It may take time to update or it may just stay as it is but you have record of the tracking. I personally have no experience with this specific situation but perhaps others might come along and post based on them doing the same thing or having knowledge on how eBay handles that.
-If you actually purchased an eBay label but did not use it you can Cancel that label within 28 days of buying it and the funds will be credited back to your account in 21 days or less. Do that on this page using the drop-down menu on the left of the item in question: Track and manage your shipments

OP1 year agoThank you so much for the help.
I was able to remove the ebay shipping label tracking and added the one that I used.
Now it says that it was shipped today. Not that it arrived.
Even though if u look up the tracking number it clearly shows it's been delivered.
Does it just take some time to catch up or what can I do to ?
