Did not receive items “deliveredâ€
I recently purchased two jewelry items from an eBay seller on Dec. 14. These items were shown shipped from New Delhi, India via “DHL Expressâ€. The items were then listed by DHL as “delivered†on Dec. 29. I don’t know who they were delivered to but the items were not delivered to me. The signature box for “proof†of delivery was not my signature.
The seller had only a response of , “They show to be delivered.†No response at all from trying to contact DHL “customer serviceâ€. I submitted these to eBay as “not delivered†but now even they are saying “They show to be delivered.â€
I have been an eBay member for 22 years and have only had items delivered by UPS, FedEx, and USPS, never before with DHL.
Very frustrated and disappointed and also don’t have the items I paid for.

OP2 years ago1. Check with the shipping company’s customer service and explain that even though the item was marked “deliveredâ€, it was not delivered to the correct address. They will investigate and issue their findings.
2. If the seller will not help with filing a lost-item claim, ask eBay to review the details and consider a refund. If the initial reviewer is not accurate or unfavorable, then you can appeal with further documentation of a misdelivered or lost item as submitted from the shipping company.

Mentor2 years agoIf tracking shows delivery but you do not receive anything, check with the shipping service to determine if the tracking number corresponds to a delivery to your address.
If not, you may be the victim of a false tracking scam or the seller may have given you the wrong tracking number by mistake, or there may be a issue with the international tracking. Either way, see here for some good instructions about what you can do about it:

What kind of feedback for selling does your seller have? You can avoid many issues by choosing to only do business with sellers that have a proven track record of delivering what was sold and that have sold similar sorts of items before. Avoid new or unproven sellers, sellers with a pattern of serious negative feedback, or sellers that have drastically changed behavior or that have unexplained gaps in selling feedback.
If your seller is a drop-shipper, the seller may have been the victim of the company doing the drop-shipping and providing the tracking number.
