eBay, not the seller, takes your payment when you use eBay Checkout. Check your eBay account for confirmation of the purchase and payment.

Also check your eBay spam folder for an eBay email. Some sellers will send an order confirmation automatically, while smaller sellers rely on eBay for all communications, so you won't see the same level of messages from all sellers.
