Did not receive $10 off on 12/31/25 purchase after activating coupon

Question

I was told I would receive $10 off my next purchase. I activated the coupon. However, I was never granted the discount. Is this because I made a lower offer on the item, which was accepted before my purchase went through? I may not have pursued the purchase had I not been offered this $10 off. I feel a bit deceived.

Did you meet the minimum purchase $amount to receive the coupon - usually it's $50 or whatever the promo says.

The Coupon will appear as a banner at the top of your Summary page - eBay doesn't send it in a message.
