Did Ebay just add a must pay tariff on items before shipping today ?
I am a seller from Canada and sell mostly stickers that I make in Canada. A customer just told me they have to prepay tariffs before buying stickers from my store. Customers earlier today didn't have this issue but one customer just said they have to pay tariffs first from the shipping company ? I'm not sure if this was just changed now or if it maybe the customer clicked something else wrong. Any help would be great ! Thank you !

No! eBay neither adds tariffs nor charges sales taxes.
No, your customer did not click anything wrong.
No, no; these tariffs are the brilliant brainchildren of some of the Smartest Men (mostly men) in the Government of the United States of America. At least one of them is a self-professed Stable Genius. (Or is that spelled "Genious" ?)
Too many American people believe that you -- as a seller from a Foreign Country -- have to pay those tariffs, and that you are helping to make America RICHER !! (Thank you??)
Then they find out that, no, the USA purchaser of a Thing that has to be delivered into the United States from said Foreign Country -- the purchaser has to pay the tariff. And the shipping company
gets tohas to collect those tariffs from the purchaser. Very slick.A fine mess we are in down here . . . . . . .
