Desception on products being sold and how to stop it.
Ive gotten into ho train collecting. Ive had to learn the hard way on making sure your getting a fair deal. Ive been buying model train items that are not what they are said to be. For instance, "dcc ready", this does not mean can be run on a dcc track. This just means it is ready to be equpped with dcc. Meaning you dont have to do all kinds of alterations to make it so. Then you have, "dcc equipped" this should mean that the train engine is equipped with dcc and can be run on a dcc track. Sellers are confusing the two phrases. Who's responsibility should it be to know? How can we better avoid returns and mis leading sales?
