denying my refund and there is moneyback guarantee
Summary: lifeline-2650 is experiencing issues with a shipment, as the item was sent to the wrong address and is incorrectly listed as 37 pounds instead of 200 pounds. They are frustrated with the seller's lack of information and eBay's rejection of their refund requests. disneyshopper and eastlaneave provide advice, suggesting steps to dispute the transaction with eBay, including reporting suspicious seller activity and contacting customer service through Instagram. lifeline-2650 appreciates the help and plans to follow the advice, while keeping the participants updated on the situation.
I am getting very frustrated. My item was shipped to another address. Fed ex stated it was not sent to my address. They will not give the address since it iwas not shipped to me and i cannot verify the address. The info says 37 pounds and it is a 200 pound item. seller is not giving me any info and now ebay keeps telling me i have receied item and case is closed. If no one can help me with this then can anyone tell me the address when to send my small claims case to so i can get my money back.

In addition to the great advice that @disneyshopper has provided
1) If your name and address weren't on that label, ask the Fedex if they will put this in writing; it's helpful, but not required. "The tracking number you were provided by the seller is not related to you nor the package you were expecting."
Also, ask for the weight of the package using that tracking number. Follow the rest of the steps starting with 2 below:
FOR FEDEX
You can usually find the weight and other details for FedEx here:
https://www.fedex.com/en-us/tracking.html
Then click 'View More Details' to see the package weight. Screenshot that.
2) Then, report the seller using this process
https://www.ebay.com/help/action?topicid=4022
Important, select "Suspicious seller activity"
then "Other"
Explain that the seller is using fake tracking numbers
Include these phrases
Seller uploaded tracking not associated with my transaction
Tracking details were not accurate
Seller used a false tracking number
Don't write a novel, it's initially being read by a computer, that's why I want you to use those 3 specific phrases in the message.
3) Finally, contact Customer Service and inform them that the seller uploaded a "false tracking number" on your purchase. Share any documentation you gathered. Request a refund.
Use the Customer Service that is on Instagram this way:
Send a private direct message to the page. Explain that you have a fake or false tracking number situation.
Let me know how this goes.
There are additional steps to take if the above isn't effective, just come back and update me.

Get the information from FedEx so you are ready when they reply.

Mentor1 week agoTake the tracking number down to your local carrier's office and have them check their GPS for where the package was delivered. If it was NOT addressed to you and your address, have the clerk state that on their letterhead. They don't need to state the name/address attached to the tracking number, just that it was not addressed to YOU.

OP3 days agoThank you so much. I tried the route of going into the fedex store but the person there stated they cannot do that and had me call and talk to customer support who stated the same thing. It makes no sense since i am not asking for any private info. I will try and disput with ebay but they keep sending me the same insert info denial letter. I even talked to a person and explained and theu sent m e the same email denying.

OPyesterday at 8:18 PMI have went the instagram route to no avail. They are stating to get the letter from fedex which fedex store will not provide and customer service will not provide. I told ebay that fedex will not provide that type of letter to me. Ebay stated to me ibn the denial of my claim that "After reviewing the details of this case, the tracking information shows that the item was delivered to your address." So i asked ebay to send me the proof of that statement. They then came back and said no it just says city and state and that is enough to prove it to them unless i get letter from fed ex that fed ex will not provide to me. So now what? THank you
