Delivery on Weekend
Can I set a condition somewhere in my Ebay account, to inform the seller and the shipping agent that I couldn't receive packages from Friday 4:00pm to Monday 8:30am. ?
I had some cases where USPS delivered on saturday or sunday to "An Individual", and I'd never received my items, then both the seller and USPS only said "the package was delivered so is not our responsability".
For example, Amazon have something like that, and works perfect.
I'll appreciate any information on this...

Mentor3 years agoSeller has no control over that. You'd need to set that up with the carrier to hold your packages.

OP3 years agoBut me as a buyer couldn't give instructions to the shipping agent that the seller use.

Mentor3 years agoUSPS, UPS, FedEx, etc. all allow a recipient to ask to hold-for-pickup or to forward to another address.
You can also ask in advance of purchase, if seller will accommodate you by marking the package to he held for pickup. But since ebay doesn't offer this option seller is not obligated to do so.
