Delivery

Question

Is there a way to tell eBay to have deliveries put on my back porch ? I do not like it delivered on my front porch for a free grab.

Ebay doesn't ship anything. All the sellers on Ebay ship their own stuff. So if you have special instructions you need on your shipments, make sure you tell your seller that information.

Also if you ask your seller what carrier they use, sometimes you can go to that carrier's website and set up your delivery preferences.

I have mine set up with Fed Ex, USPS and UPS.

Keep in mind that sellers are not responsible for your item once delivered to the address you give them. If you are having your items delivered to a place that it may get stolen, please know that is not going to be something you can come back on your seller for. Buyers are responsible to provide a safe delivery address.

You could add to the second line of your address, "Leave on back porch."

You could also ask your seller if he would highlight that on the label or write it on the package in large lettering.

It won't guarantee the carrier will do it, but it should help.

@kcstahl Ebay does not make deliveries. You will need to talk to your mail carrier/delivery people.
