Delivery
I recently sold a cup on eBay and bought the label off eBay through USPS priority mail and it gave very good tracking details and it said it was delivered to the buyers house and said where they left it and now the buyer is saying it wasn’t delivered, that she can’t find it anywhere. Do I have to refund her money even though the tracking says delivered? What if she really did get the package and is lying to try to get money back?

Mentor2 years agoYou do not have to refund the buyer. You are not responsible once the tracking shows delivered. If the buyer opens a not received claim, respond to the claim by entering the tracking # in the claim, and it will close in your favor.
Send the buyer a sympathetic note, explaining that they must go to their PO with the tracking # and ask them to look up the delivery. The scanners have gps so they can see where it was delivered. If mis-delivered, the carrier should try to retrieve the item.
If stolen from the buyer's location, it is a matter for their home insurance and the local police.
