delivering carriers
Hello... I have a request from ebay about information available to buyers when visiting posted auctions.
when a potential buyer visits an auction on any item, I request that the seller make available the delivery carrier(s) that will be delivering the item(s). If the buyer sees a carrier the dont wish to do business with the buyer has the option to pay for shipping or not make the purchase. the I've been with ebay for alot of years and have had many many great experiences in my history. But I have had some that can pull hair. USPS, FedEx, UPS, have been great. this "qtrack" that is being used by sellers, if i could see in the auction listing that qtrack is/or possibly being used; i can choose not to purchase and look elsewhere. I ve had 3 purchases in past involving qtrack, and if I'd known I wouldn't have clicked "buy now". I am currently once again, dealing with a qtrack journey; 2 weeks waiting for item. No item received. money discussion with seller/ebay. the whole time everyone seems to forget....the buyer purchased an item he/she wanted a long long time ago; and now has to start over. but if I'd seen "qtrack" in seller info, this never would have happened.
Thank you for your time in reading this and hopefully ebay elects to make this procedure mandatory for a better buyer experience. Ken V

Mentor7 months agoMost sellers disclose the carrier they will be using when you click SEE DETAILS in the shipping section. If not disclosed, you can always click CONTACT SELLER and ask BEFORE you decide to purchase or not.
If you are using the new messaging system, start typing where it says SEND MESSAGE. The area will enlarge as you type. When done typing, click on that "paper airplane" looking arrow on the right side to send the message.
