Delivered Item shows as In Transit
I sold and shipped an order using eBay's USPS Priority Mail service and label.
The seller confirmed receipt of the package over a week ago, however eBay and USPS still show the package as "In Transit."
I have been trying to contact eBay to remedy the situation, but only get assistance from their chat bot.
Any help from the community is greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance!

-First, go to the USPS site and file a Missing Mail piece. This can sometimes shake the tracking information loose so USPS and eBay's systems update.
-As a new Seller, your funds may be on hold for up to 30 days regardless of the tracking status: Payments on hold | eBay
-Did you stand in line at the USPS counter and have the clerk scan the package into their system and then they printed a receipt for you or did you just drop the package off int he drop off lane? Standing in line and getting the scan is the best thing to do.

-- Understood. As I do not need the funds immediately, this is not an issue. Just want to make sure that I ultimately receive the funds.

-- Yes sir. I dropped the package off at my local Post Office and received a receipt including tracking number. Additionally, the buyer confirmed receipt and provided positive feedback.
As a side note, I looked through your listings and really enjoyed seeing the model trains. When I was 11, my late father gifted me a Lionel HO American Freedom Train. I no longer remember what happened to it, but thinking about it still brought a smile to my face.

You are more than welcome!
The Lionel HO scale freedom Train ... wow, too bad you don't have it, it brings good money, not that you would want to sell it, just saying.
What's interesting is that I am not a collector, just a reseller. I got in to selling on eBay back in 2105 when I helped my father liquidate an uncle's family estate. We pushed a lot of the big stuff through yard sales and local consignment shops leaving two garage bays full of smaller items. Our eBay account was opened for buying in 2007 and in 2015 I converted it to selling to clear our the garage LOL! In about 6 months most of the stuff was gone and with that success we started buying and reselling from local live auctions on weekends. The trains I got into because one of the last things I sold from my uncle's estate was an American flyer set. I set it up and put the train on the track and ... nothing happened. So, being somewhat technical I took the train apart, found two loose wires, soldered them back in place, did some light oiling and gear lubing, put it back on the track and off it went!!! I was hooked LOL. Prior to that I had done several HO layouts on 4 x 4 plywood for our sons but that was about the extent of my train experience. Fast forward today and in 10 plus years I have acquired, checked and tested thousands and thousands of train engines, cars and accessories ... it's kind of the best of both worlds, I get to test run the trains then move them on to new owners ... then get more LOL! And like the American Flyer set, some are put on the track and ... nothing happens until I take them apart, repair and service what I can and in most cases put them back on the track and off they go! Doing this with some Pre War trains that are over 100 years old is simply amazing to me, a testament to American toy manufacturing!
Anyway, rambling is over LOL!
