delisting
Summary: got*horse is frustrated because their Reel-to-Reel Tapes have been delisted for being supposedly counterfeit, despite being part of their personal collection. They note that some tapes are sealed, limited edition, or have certificates of authenticity, yet appeals to reinstate them have been denied. They are seeking suggestions or feedback on why this is happening, especially since they have a 100% rating and experience selling since 2000.
I have had several of my newly listed Reel-to-Reel Tapes delisted claiming they are counterfeit. I appealed and it was denied. These are from our own personal curated collection which we have built over the years. I know they are not counterfeit. Some are sealed and never played. All at least have tails out. Some are limited edition from the label and are numbered. Some have COA and all have original container, some with original paperwork inside. Does anyone know why these have been locked out? They are under names such as Horch House, Analogue Productions and ABC International. Some of mine I guess made the cut and I just dont know why? Does anyone have any suggestions or feedback.
I am so frustrated because it absolutely isnt true and its so hard to speak to anyone! I have been selling on ebay since 2000 and selling since 2020 - 100% rating.

Mentor2 weeks agoA lot will depend on exactly what the message you received from eBay says. If the message mentioned VeRO (Verified Rights Owner) then the rights owner of the item reported the listings to eBay. If VeRO was not mentioned either the bots made the determination or another user reported the items. If this was a VeRO removal you will not be able to relist the items. If not then you would have to contact customer service and see if you can prove they are real to their satisfaction.
