Deleting Photos
Does anyone know how I can delete a photo from an existing listing? I inadvertently added the wrong photo to an item that has already received a bid.

·10 months agoUnfortunately, since the auction has a bid, you cannot edit details like that (imagine if a seller could change photos after a bid was placed and the type of harm some sellers could cause).
You have two choices I know of. You are able to add to the description, even though you can’t change or remove anything already there, so if it’s not the main photo and you think an explanation would suffice, just add an explanation that the photo in question is not part of the listing.
Or, if you think it’s causing confusion about what you’re selling and it’s not wise to keep the listing up, you should cancel the bid that has been placed and message the bidder explaining why you did so, and after you cancel the bid, then end the auction and relist with the correct photos. There is a chance you will be charged a final value fee based on that highest current bid, but if that happens you can try reaching out to customer service to see if they will take off that charge.

Locate the listing, click EDIT in the left side. Click the TRASH CAN icon on the right side of the photo you wish to remove. Scroll to the bottom and submit the listing.
