Deleting my account

Question

Ebay will not allow me to delete my account. They keep telling me to check my purchase then submit another request to close my account. Why is this?

If you have recent transactions that have not yet been settled, eBay may delay the closure of your account until after that has happened.

"Generally, it takes 14 days to close an account from the date we receive a request, though it may take up to 60 days if you've had any transactions, payments, claims or disputes in the previous 30 days."

Wait a bit and try again if you still want to close your account.
