Deleting a listing eBay hid due to policy violation
I listed an item with a link in the description where a buyer could look up the operators manual, since I don't have one to include with the item for sale. eBay immediately flagged the listing, ended it, and hid it from viewers (not sure why do both, since either one keeps people from seeing it). I figured out my error, but there was no way to correct the listing. Everything was frozen. I tried to access it through the email eBay sent as well as the internal message and just going to my unsold box. I could look at it, but there was no way to edit it. All I could do was ask for a waiver, which I did, but never heard anything back from eBay. So I created a new listing with no helpful (to the customer) links and the listing posted fine and in fact as I write, has a bidder. But now I have the original listing stuck in my unsold box, staring me in the face every time I check what I need to relist.
How to I get rid of that dead listing from my unsold box? eBay won't respond and their AI assistant was of no help either.
Thanks
