Deleted listings are not going into inactive? they are disappearing..I need to contact ebay
Summary: montanabrandi70 is experiencing issues with eBay listings not appearing in the inactive file after ending them. Only a fraction of the listings reappear, leading to frustration and difficulty in contacting eBay for support. rfmtm suggests methods for contacting eBay, including typing 'AGENT' for chat assistance and using Instagram for private messages. It is noted that this issue is affecting other sellers, indicating a broader problem with eBay's system. rfmtm also confirms that if listings were deleted from the inactive page, they would not be retrievable.
Good morning,
I am frantic. This is the 3rd time I have deleted items to sell similar and 75% of the listings are not showing up in my inactive file????
the other day I ended 10 items and only 3 showed up in my inactive tab and today I ended 17 and only 5 have shown up. I keep refreshing and nothing is changing.
I have looked everywhere to find how I can contact eBay but I keep getting the automated response. I cannot get an answer or help.
Help!
TIA
Brandi

Mentor3 weeks agoLatest news. This is being reported by many other sellers. So ebay definitely has a problem. Hopefully this gets fixed fast, but whether they can restore your listings is another question.

Mentor3 weeks agoDo you mean you are "ending" active listings?

Mentor3 weeks agoIf you are ending the listing and did not otherwise archive them they should stick around for 90 days.
Contact ebay by chat (type in AGENT) or callback here:

Send a private message for further help here:

OP3 weeks agoWhere do I have the archived item that I ended? It is not under the inactive tab?
Thank you for helping me with this.

Mentor3 weeks agoSorry, I meant unless you archived them yourself outside of ebay.
Are you sure once you Ended the listing you didn't "Delete" them from the Inactive page? That would remove them the same as the 90 expiration purge.
Otherwise the best you can do is contact ebay to at least report the problem although they may or may not be able to find them for you.
