I usually tell the buyer to make arrangements to hold mail or have a neighbor, friend or relative pick up the package. If they do not want to do that, I ask them to cancel the order and they can rebuy when they are ready to receive the item.
As a seller, you are required to ship as promised in your listing.
You can choose to hold back for two weeks and an occasional mark against your shipping time won't likely hurt you in the long run. It is just not something that I am willing to do. You can decide if it is worth it to you.
I just think it is the buyer's responsibility to make arrangements for packages or wait to purchase until they can receive packages.
