Delayed shipment
I have sold an item however I am traveling and I will not be able to ship for 11 days. How can I change the ship date after an item has been sold?

Mentor8 months agoOnce the item has sold you are locked into the handling time that was stated on the listing. eBay will expect you to ship within that time limit or receive a shipping defect on your account.
About all you can do now is to contact the buyer and explain that you will need to cancel the purchase and ask them to purchase again once you are available to ship. They do not have to agree to this and may leave appropriate feedback.
