Buyer delayed the shipping and delivery as per the timelines provided in listing.. why cant I reject the Item ?

Mentor8 months agoIf you ship late, you will get a defect on your account, even if the buyer requested it. Quite simply put, you cannot ship late. Let the buyer know that this is not allowed. Then cancel the transaction as instructed above.

Not sure what you mean by "reject" the item.
You are required to ship within your stated handling time.
Let the buyer know this and that you can cancel the transaction (use the reason that there is a problem with the address) and relist the item when he is back and available to take delivery.. On the agreed upon date, relist the item and send the buyer the new item # so he can repurchase it.
