Defective product, couldn't be returned
Hi!! In my case, i received a cellphone described in Excellent Status by seller, with a main issue in the hinge, it's a Samsung ZFold 4 type. I reported the problem to the seller since I received the product, what he did was give me a refund of $30, and then another of $25, without really assuming his responsibility. When the seller finally gave me the order to return the product with a USPS guide, I went to return the product and being an international buyer outside the United States, I found out that it is not allowed to export cell phones due to an existing prohibition in the country. The product ended up costing me more than $600 with additional import and transportation costs, but I only received from the seller a ridiculous refund of $55, for a product that he advertised as if it were Almost New (Excellent). I feel cheated in this purchase and the case was closed by Ebay without taking into account that the origin of the situation was a product with defects from origin and that was sold as in perfect condition. I appreciate your help on how I can proceed to recover some of my invested money. Thank you.
