defective item seller didn't want it back

Hi, I received an item which didn't work as described.

I contacted the seller and informed them of this.

They suggested I didn't hook it up correctly and said over and over it worked when they sent it.

I rechecked the item a few times but the problem persisted so I asked for a refund and now want to return the sellers merchandise. I did get a refund but now the seller doesn't respond to messages to how to return the item. I did note that they say on the item that returns are not accepted but this was almost one hundred dollars, I can't believe they wouldn't want their stuff back. Has anyone else had this sort of thing happen?

If you were refunded by the seller, they do not want the item back. If they did want the item back, they would have accepted the return and provided a prepaid shipping label for the return. Once they send the refund, that ends the transaction. They do not want it back.
