defective item
I ordered a Milwaukee battery that turned out to be a fake. Instead of using my ebay account I purchased it as a guest and now due to all the automated responses ebay uses I am unable to return the item or even talk to a real person. I took the battery to a local Milwaukee rep and they sent it in for repair or replacement. Milwaukee sent it back (twice) saying it was a fake. I have sent emails to the seller, but they have not responded. They are selling fake Milwaukee batteries made in china. I am out $153.52 with no way to recover it. NOT ALL SELLERS ON EBAY ARE ARE SELLING WHAT THEY ADVERTISE, SOME ARE FAKE!!!!

Mentor2 years ago@robr4029 I am so sorry that happened. You could have filed a return request from the guest account for an item that is not authentic.
You do only have 30 days from the date of delivery to file a refund request on eBay.
Have you tried a credit card or bank charge back? Note that once you go to your bank or credit card eBay can no longer help you.
Log out of your eBay account and request the guest account details from this page:

Then you can start a refund request, track your order, or contact the seller, from the guest account email. Do not log in to your regular eBay account.

You needed to file a Return Request as a guest in order to receive a refund.
But since you took the battery in for repair/replacement, you can no longer return the battery.
