Defective Item
I purchased a power tool battery in September and it worked great. When i decided to use it a couple of days back, however, the battery is out of charge and doesn't charge anymore. I tried to contact the seller who has 10 10-year warranty and despite several messages ( over a week or more time), I have not gotten any response. Any suggestions are welcome.

eBay does not enforce seller extended warranties - they can only help for 30 days after receipt.
I think you will have to buy a new battery.

OP2 years agothank you for the clarification. I will end up buying another battery nevertheless. However, isn't it fraudulent to deceive customers by allowing sellers on your website who don't honor their warranties?

I agree that eBay should not allow sellers to claim an extended warranty. I suspect that they would find it impossible to police.
