Defective eBay purchase not showing up in my purchases. Canâ€™t start a return because it is not showi

I purchased an item from eBay. It was delivered but defective. When I try to start a return, I get the message there are no purchases in my account.

Maybe you weren't logged in when you made your purchase. If not, you've received an email.

I thought I was logged in. But if not, how can I contact eBay to return the item. I have the emails from eBay showing my order and when it was shipped and when it was delivered. But every time I try to start a return I get the message I have no purchases It wonâ€™t let me contact the seller or anything.

Hi @bbou3393 Here is a link to Buying as a Guest. Buying as a guest | eBay

There is an explanation on that page on how to handle returns. You will not be able to leave Feedback on the transaction if you purchased as a guest and the transaction cannot be merged with your eBay account.
