Defective Christmas present. Seller refuses to exchange defective item.
I bought a piece of jewelry for my girlfriend, which was a Christmas present, she tried to put it on, and the chain is broken. It’s missing the link at the end of the chain. The seller refuses to exchange I’m not even asking for a refund, since it is one day past the 30 day window, I am so appalled. I can’t believe that they would sell you something defective and not be responsible. Would like suggestions on how to handle this issue.

If it has been more than 30 days since date of delivery, you cannot use Ebay's Money Back Guarantee.
File a return request through Paypal or contact your credit card company, depending on how you paid.
