Defective and poor quality of items sold on ebay.
I have purchased and returned too many new out of the box defective items. Also too many poor quality that last 2 or three months and then fail. Now it is too late to return them. Does anyone else have this problem? I love Ebay and have been using it for over twenty years buy the quality of items has caused me to nearly stop buying on ebay. For example, I purchased 8' LED light tubes ten years ago that are still working and the same thing two years ago that began to fail after 4 months. None of the lasted 6 months. The problem that I see is that we have no way to leave feedback about poor quality or short life and no way to leave feedback if we return an item because it was an out of the box failure. Sure we can return defective items and ebay does an excellent job with that but it costs a lot of time reordering another one and waiting on it again as well as taking it to the post office. I would like to see Ebay provide and avenue for us as consumers to address these issues. Please tell me if there is one that I do not know about. I have lost my confidence in buying on ebay and I want it back.
