Help! I’m new to eBay and I’m not sure how things work. I opened a case for a default item and the seller is asking me to close the case so that they can refund me. But eBay’s notes says if I close it, I can’t reopen. If that is correct, then how do I know if I’ll get a refund for sure?

Mentor5 months agoDo not close the case. If you filed an Item Not Received case, or a returns request for Item Not as Described/damaged, the seller can refund you within the case, and that will close it. The seller has 3 days to respond to the case. If no response, on day 4, go back to the case and click Ask ebay to step in, when it shows up, to force the refund.
