Decline cancellation request when item has not even shipped
What's the dealio, ordered an item on the 25th canceled on the 26th 3 Days Later told the seller declines the cancellation, no tracking number as of the cancellation decline and shows it is not even been shipped yet, the ad says items will ship within 3 days, I would think eBay would not allow someone to decline the cancellation when even in the 3 days they have to answer your request they can't even say it's been shipped yet not even a pre shipment of USPS waiting to receive the item, think eBay's cancellation policy also needs a little more clarification as it just says a buyer can cancel an item pretty much for any reason, as long as it has not shipped, the seller can declined the cancellation with no more explanation of what gives them the right to decline it, or to offer any explanation as to why they are declining the cancellation.

You really do not know if the item has shipped or not as not all sellers use the eBay shipping center to ship their items. If they do not use the eBay shipping center then the tracking number is not automatically placed on the purchase history and the seller must manually do this.
You are protected by the eBay Money Back Guaranty for almost all items listed on the site. Once the last estimated delivery date has passed by at least one full day you can open an "Item not received" case. If the seller cannot provide tracking information that shows the item as delivered or still in transit showing movement within three full days you can go back to the case and "Ask eBay to step in" eBay will then force a refund.
