Dear eBay please fix your system! Fedex does NOT deliver to APO and FPO
This bug exists for years! eBay allows purchasing items listed with Fedex while they do NOT deliver to military addresses. Cancellations are extremely frustrated for buyers and sellers both!

They give us a tool to handle this. If you are using fedex, exclude APO/FPO addresses here - https://www.ebay.com/ship/prf

OP2 years agoI'm using FedEx for large / bulky items but I'm also using USPS and UPS. Why should I exclude APO/FPO globally? Why eBay cannot check if item cannot be shipped using selected shipping method? It doesn't make ANY sense. They do check when bulky item cannot be shipped internationally and prevent from buyers to purchase. Why not APO/FPO???

You can set your exclusions to represent what you use the majority of the time, then change your exclusions on the items that are not in the majority - it doesn’t have to be all or nothing.

OP2 years agoI have contacted eBay about this issue number of times in the past and all I hear is "Yes we know this is frustrating" but nothing is done

I'm sure there are lots of enhancements they would like to make, but as with everything, it is a matter of priorities.

·2 years agoPrivate mail can NOT be shipped to international USA military destinations. The domestic USA postal system does not ship letters or packages to individual personnel stationed at military locations outside the USA.
Military personel stationed outside of the USA get their mail via 3 mail locations in the US, run by the military as the APO, (army/airfoce), FPO (navy/coast guard) and DPO (diplomatic) systems.
The highly secure mail sorting/management for military mail are in three cities in the USA:
--- The one in San Francisco ships to the Far East and Pacific stations.
--- The one in New York ships to Europe and other northern/central european counties.
--- The one in Miami ships to Central America and South America
