Dealing with Postal Mistakes and Misdeliveries
Summary: kactusmaan is seeking advice on handling issues with postal deliveries. They experienced a problem with postage authentication and the packages were sent to an old address. They updated their return address, and one package was returned by the current resident. They are unsure if the second package will automatically be redirected to the updated address and are asking for others' experiences and resolutions related to address changes and misdeliveries.
Hi Mentors,
I recently encountered a situation with the postal service that has left me puzzled. It seems either I or the post office made an error with the postage sticker on two cards, which subsequently failed authentication due to what I think was a mix-up. Now, there's a refund in progress, but the bigger issue is that these packages were sent to my old address. I've updated my return address since, and thankfully, the current resident at my old address was kind enough to return the first package to the sender.
As I wait for the second package, I'm left wondering: Will it be returned to my updated address automatically, or do I have to take additional steps by contacting the post office? Also, have others faced similar challenges with postal delivery when an address change coincides with ongoing shipments? If so, how did you resolve it?
Looking forward to hearing your insights and experiences. Thank you!

Mentor1 week ago@kactusmaan I absolutely would contact your post office about the address change.
Other members have reported that the address correction is not "sticking" unless they do these steps>
ADD a new address and THEN delete the old one in account settings. Be sure to update ALL of the shipping addresses.
