Dealing with Payment Delays and Communication Mix-Ups on eBay and phantom Unresolved issues
Summary: js_sas_nmw has experienced issues with their eBay account after making $1000 in sales. Despite the items being shipped, their payment is on hold due to supposed delivery issues. The account flags unresolved problems for each item, but when attempting to resolve them, it appears there is nothing to address. They express frustration over the communication and delays, as they are told these issues will resolve themselves in 5-7 days post-delivery.
So, I just set up my eBay account for the first time and bam, within a week I sold two things worth a total of about $1000. Sweet deal, right? Except, here's the catch: My money got stuck on hold. First, they told me once the items are delivered, I’d get my cash. Now, it’s like 2-3 days after delivery. But here's where it gets really interesting: they're saying I can't get my money until I sort out some "issues." Supposedly, the issue is that the items aren’t delivered yet, but there’s tracking info showing they are totally on their way and not even late. Meanwhile, my account is flagging 5 unresolved issues, 1 for each item I’m selling. Thing is, when I go to the hub and click to resolve 'em, it says there’s nothing to do. Honestly, it feels like I’m being tossed around here. And now the latest update is that issues will magically sort themselves out 5-7 days post-delivery. But my account’s still pointing fingers at other items. Wanted to share some pics of this mess, but of course, won’t let me. 🤷♂️
