Dealing with international sellers
Hello,
Is there a deadline for disputing a defective item? For example:
- Purchase made day 1
- Purchase shipped/delivered day 30
- Report item is defective day 32
- Replacement item shipped/delivered day 60
I’m concerned I would be missing some type of refund deadline if I wait for the replacement item. Should I just request a refund instead? Or should I keep waiting for replacement item? Will eBay support me if the item is defective again after 60 days?

Mentor2 years ago@traderdad1123 Get a refund. Then if you wish to buy from the same seller again you can. Promised replacement items are rarely sent from other countries.
You only have 30 days from the date of delivery to file a not as described return request. Then the request can only stay open for about 21 days without action on it.
