So much waiting ... so much wasted time... Parts and money tied up for weeks over sellers who could care less about their customers. Policies need to change to protect the buyer and speed up processes. I feel that if a seller does not ship an item within 3 business days, the buyer should be able to cancel the order and be refunded. I am currently dealing with a seller who has been paid and after 4 days still has not shipped my order. seller has ignored 2 messages and a request to cancel the order. I am now without the parts I need and also the money that could be used to buy from someone who actually wants and needs my business. I have found this problem occurring more and more often.
When you are viewing a listing for purchase consideration, be mindful to look at the estimated date of delivery. Sellers are allowed have an extended handling time, but they must make sure the item is delivered to the buyer on/before the estimated date of delivery.
Then you have to wait until the latest estimated delivery date has passed.
Then you have maximum 30 days to report the item you didn't receive. Three business days later, you can ask eBay to step in, if it’s still not solved.
Go to your Purchase History and click on Order Details next to the item title to see if the latest estimated date of delivery has already passed.
IF/WHEN the latest estimated date of delivery has already passed by at least 1 day, you have up to 30 days past estimated date of delivery to file a Refund Request:
Go to your My Ebay page >> Purchase history
Select “More actions†beside your item and then “I didn't receive it.â€
Click the box beside I want a refund.
Select Send request.
If the seller does not respond after 3 days, you can ask Ebay to step in to help you.

·2 years agoI'm sorry.
At the moment sellers can set their handling time.
Their received feedback can give a clue.
