damaged used opened destroyed return ebay sided with customer?????
i sold an item- had no way to take pic at the time found a real good stock photo - i stated the item was a stock photo. description said no returns. i was not accepting returns on this item. well the item clear sealed packaging was plain.mine had security shading in the wraped packaging. the customer not paying attention till already shipped noticed the packaging was not right. the customer sent me horrible messages and even threatening messages. about wanting their money back b4 she even got the package. my failure was i didnt know the product as well as i should and was unaware their was faux products out there. my stock photo was of a faux product. but my actual product was real, never opened with proper sealed and security labels. to prove her case to ebay. they opened - destroyed parts - ripped parts - opened half the internal packaging and returned it without the shrink wrap packaging that was on my item that would prove my case.. ebay refunded the customer. course to complain thru an ai. u have refund first and make yer complaint. and never getting to message an actual person. once they said it was resolved - even if u appealed u have no way to get thru the ai. to apeal again. i why didnt the customer just return it. my only response was. i was going to let ebay handle it. with the messages and threats i got from her i thought she was going to show up at my door step to get her money back. almost .. i was not denying the return as they thought i just never had a customer like this and wanted nothing to do with messaging this customer. i was surprised to lose my item - customer destroys - returns gets their money back and i am at a loss to resale item because it was destroyed. every thing i read says it needs to be returned insame condition it arrived... with all parts including packaging which was not included in the return- i can handle a bad review. never had one but i assumed it would be enevidable more and more i sold- cant please everyone all the time eh? there was 40 items in case - i got 19 back unopened or undamaged my customer got 21 items perfect condition for free- i paid for the shipping - i lossed my whole set and unable to sell it now- it was pricy - she had a total of 12 reviews - i had 100s with all top reviews for sales and customer service and items exactly as described.
