damaged sports card
I bought a sports card that seemed to have good pictures. It went through the eBay authentication process, I received the card and it was damaged. I paid almost $900 for this card so I contacted the seller 1st. He sharded more photos of this card before if was shipped out to the authenticator and from what I can tell the damage was not there. So the seller told me I needed to get in touch with eBay to resolve this and I've tried but keep running into dead ends. So today I just decided I would return to the seller but the seller isn't accepting returns, so I don't know what to do?

Mentor2 years ago@chasing-even You need to file a not as described refund request within THREE days of delivery for sports cards. Use the reason arrived damaged. The eBay MBG expires after 3 days so act fast. Who ends up refunding you is between the seller and eBay to work out.
The eBay Money Back Guarantee over rules the sellers return policy. You have 30 days from the date of delivery to file a not as described return request.
Here's what you need to do:
You should open a Return Request. "Arrived damaged",
Select the return item button on this page:
https://www.ebay.com/help/buying/returns-refunds/return-item-refund?id=4041&st=
4 business days after filing the return request if the seller has not provided a return shipping label or a full refund then ask eBay to step in and help: https://www.ebay.com/help/buying/returns-refunds/ask-ebay-to-step-in?id=4701

OP2 years agoTY for the reply but it looks like I'm screwed cause today is Day 4. This delivered to me Thursday 6/27. I didn't get back in town till Saturday 6/29 and finally opened the package yesterday and immediately messaged the seller.

Mentor2 years ago@chasing-even Your other option is a credit card or bank charge back for an item that is significantly not as described.

Ebay"s Money Back Guarantee overrides the seller's "No returns" policy. File a Return Request:
