Damaged shipment
Is there a resolution for purchase that was severely damaged in shipping? The packaging was totally destroyed and the item is unusable.

Mentor10 months agoYou should let the seller know. Then you would need to file an "Item not as described" case but the seller should just refund you because to file an insurance claim the shipping carrier will want to inspect the item and the packaging prior to deciding the claim. If you were to send the item back the carrier will deny the claim. The buyer should be fully refunded no matter if the carrier allows the insurance claim or not.

Mentor10 months agoOpen a Return Request for an ITEM NOT AS DESCRIBED, damaged. Seller will pay for the return, if he wants it back, and/or refund. If no response by the fourth day, go back and ask ebay to step in. Do not close or let the case expire without doing this, if not resolved.
