Damaged items
So I sold these tail light covers from a 67 mercury cougar and they had arrived to the buyer way late and damaged, we are both unsure about what to do about it but believe something needs to be done any help would be greatly appreciated

·2 years agoHi @snake_s_33 You're responsible for the damage even if it's the fault of the shipping carrier. You can choose to either refund the buyer without requiring a return; or ask the buyer to submit a return request case through eBay, and the buyer will be sent a prepaid return label at your cost.
Make sure you respond to the case before the deadline. Don't ask eBay to "step in and help," as that will earn a transaction defect against your performance metrics.

But first contact your shipping carrier about how to make a claim with them for the damage. If the item is returned to you, that may void a claim for damage.
