damaged item, seller refuses refund
Today is 4/14/24. Received on 4/08/24 an extremely well wrapped pen/pencil set so pen could not have been damaged at all in transit to me. Seller claimed item was in 100% perfect condition when sent. Could not have been as it was one of the best wrapped pen/pencil set I ever saw from any seller. Seller told to complete return process and would refund $ if pen/pencil set was sent back exactly as wrapped when sent to me. (Told seller seems Parker Classic colored barrels pens seem to get this hairline splitting on the upper and bottom barrel which makes the pen useless. It falls apart.) Said I would do that. Saw later seller denied me sending it back, and never got in touch with me after I waited the three business days Ebay suggested. Wrote note to seller about this and they have not responded. How does this work to get Ebay to help me get the product back to the seller and get my refund. I did offer to buy the pencil as it was not damaged and just return the damaged pen for a refund. Seller was snippy in their attitude toward me in their correspondence. I have copies of all the notes between us.

What reason did you select for the return? It should be damaged/not as described.
If your return is still open, go to your return and click 'ask us to step in'.
If you selected some other reason and the seller was able to decline the return, call your credit card issuer. Ask them to open a dispute for a broken item received.
