Damaged item by UPS
The Seller listed a vintage power amplifier and it sold (Buy It Now). He took it to the local UPS store to wrap it. He had already talked with them about the safety of sending it, but they assured him it could be sent safely. He wanted to watch them pack it, but they would not let him. It arrived at the Buyer's location damaged. He went to the UPS store from which he sent it, but they said the third party (E-Bay) created the label so he couldn't file a claim. The Buyer couldn't file a claim. He cannot find anything on the enormous eBay website that deals with damages by the shipping agent and how to get reimbursed for the item. He has already refunded the Buyer's money including shipping. That is just ridiculous. Can anyone help. Yes, there are a lot of pictures available. The item was worth $200 and the shipping was $100! There is something wrong with this. Doesn't eBay have a customer service email or phone number?
