damaged in usps hands
I soled and item and had the buyer decide the course of which they wanted to receive the item and the buyer did not chose insurance, is it my responsibility for me to chose insurance when I have the buyer chose the course of which they want to receive the item? Now the buyer is wanting a refund for this item! Please help this is my first sell and don't have the money to be doing this!

Mentor3 years agoIt is up to you as the seller if you want to add insurance. Note that some mail like Priority already has some free insurance for you to claim. Regardless it is you responsibility that the item arrives as described or buyer can request a refund.
If you want the item back before refunding, accept the return and don't refund until you get it back. If you want to file a USPS claim, have buyer keep everything for inspection, but you will still need to refund.
