Damaged eBay gift card

I have another problem regarding the eBay gift cart that I bought at Safeway for $40.00 on 4/21/24 at 16:37 store 929, it turns out that the gift card is damaged (when I scratched the redemption code there was a missing number 623421???9400), I have reported this problem to Safeway but until now there has been no response and reportedly up to four months, please can eBay Customer Service help resolve this problem?, because I have been waiting for this problem for a long time, please respond, thank you
